Zender Signalrot

I’m not building an Evo.

I’m building what a 190 looked like in 1988 if you walked into Zender instead of AMG.

190E 2.0. Signalrot. DB 568.
Not metallic. Not black. The red they actually painted on the line.

The kit is Zender. Front, sides, rear. Period plastic that makes the Sacco box sit lower and meaner without pretending it’s a DTM car. That’s the whole point of this file.

It lives in Radom. Poland.

I didn’t buy it to hide it.

I bought it so a Zender 190 in Signalrot still exists on a street, not only in an old catalogue.

Mission Passed Respect + Rear-on. Zender wing locked to the lid. Black cap. 190E in the lights. In San Andreas the banner only drops when the objective is actually done. Same rule here. The back of a Zender 190 is the objective. If the wing sits, the kit sits. If it doesn’t, you are still in the mission. This one sits. Save the file. Respect +.

Left hand on a Zender wheel. Red mark at twelve. The word Zender in the bottom spoke, where your thumbs rest. AMG face through the rim. Red needles. Wood on the console. Five-speed in the middle. Phone on the vent because this car was built before that was a problem. It is a 2.0. It does not launch. It gathers. On a wet dual carriageway after rain the kit is quiet and the wheel is the loudest period part in the cabin. You sit low, the glass is upright, the road is a long Polish strip with trees on both sides. This is the drive: not fast, not soft, not modern. The car tells you what it is through the wheel before it tells you through the seat.

This is the back of the car. Zender boot wing with the black top. Signalrot underneath, so the wing is part of the lid, not a bolt-on afterthought. Skirts into the rear bumper. Black rubbing strip. The 190E badge still on the C-pillar. The five-spokes are on it now. Cobblestones, evening, a square full of people. The rear is what they stand behind. A Zender 190 is finished at the boot. If the wing is wrong, the whole kit is wrong. This one sits.

First clip of it moving in the sun. Bratnia 9. Blue sky. The Zender rear is in the frame and the car is not standing still for a photograph. Winter is over. The kit is the same. The plate is already WR. I put Beat It on it because that is the speed the car looks like it has, even when it does not.
