Mercedes Nordic Night Widebody 190E

1990 190E 2.0 · Haderslev, Denmark

Slot 029

Every great W201 build starts with a deep respect for the classic Bruno Sacco lines, but I wanted to take this 190E somewhere far more aggressive. My name is Magnus Glumsø, and this is my vision of the ultimate street-driven W201.

The goal from day one was to bridge the gap between classic DTM heritage and modern stance culture. The exterior commands attention with a widebody conversion that gives the chassis a much-needed broad-shouldered footprint. To keep the look sophisticated but menacing, it was sprayed in a deep, color-shifting metallic green that looks almost black in the shade but explodes with life under the sun. It sits millimeters off the ground on gloss black multi-spoke wheels that complete the murdered-out, low-slung aesthetic.

However, a build like this needs a heart to match its looks. Pop the hood, and the striking red heat-shielding draws your eyes straight to the centerpiece: the dbilas dynamic intake setup. It completely transforms the character of the car, offering a raw, mechanical induction roar that you just can’t get from modern forced induction.

It’s a project that has required countless hours in the garage, a lot of late nights, and a dedication to getting the stance and performance perfectly dialed in. It’s loud, it’s wide, and it breaks necks every time it rolls out.
