This French-based Mercedes-Benz 190D, registered under the W201 platform, has been assembled over several years by its owner with a deliberate focus on period-correct aerodynamic bodywork and low-profile stance. The car carries a complete Zender body kit complemented by a Kamei three-piece rear spoiler, US-specification front end conversion, and a set of rear louvres sourced through dedicated parts searches.Suspension is handled by an air-ride system that allows the car to tuck its wheels fully into the arches. Wheel fitment has progressed from AMG Penta five-spoke units to Work Madel items in 9×17 and 10.5×17 sizing, retaining the wide-lip aesthetic associated with the build’s era of reference.Interior work was carried out by hand over more than a month, incorporating a custom trunk board, restored wood trim produced in collaboration with Engraved Dream, and an Italvolanti Admiral steering wheel. The dashboard veneer was refinished and fitted to complement the full-black cabin theme. The car has been shown at Ultrace in Poland, The Show at Magny-Cours, and Classique Day events in France, where it has been documented by multiple photographers including Dffrnt Media and Lords Stance. Classiqueautowerks has contributed trim and detailing work to the build.
