Daily Driven1989W201
This W202 C-Class is the primary build documented by the account, owned and driven by Jamie (@l27jme) and based in Suffolk, England. The car runs on air suspension and sits on Rotiform multi-piece wheels, placing it firmly in the UK bagged Mercedes scene. It is maintained with Stjarnagloss detailing products and has been a regular fixture at events including Ultrace in Poland, Stance Adria in Croatia, Rollhard at Bicester Motion, and Gravity Show.
A notable modification is the open-air roof, which the owner cut himself using an angle grinder, with panel work carried out by @ng.panelwork. The conversion is described as one of only two open-air W202s in existence. The car received a full respray at some point prior to the most recent season, with bodywork corrected and refinished to a high standard.
The build has been taken on extended European road trips, including a 2,600-mile round trip to Croatia and a drive through Austria and Slovenia en route to Stance Adria 2025. It achieved a top-10 finish at Kulturschock 2026, demonstrating recognition within the competitive UK and European show car circuit.
The W202 is accompanied in some posts by an E36 BMW belonging to a friend, and the account also covers transport business content and other cars, which are unrelated to the primary build documented here.
Your car belongs in this registry. 375 of the 500 founding files are still open, numbered in order of intake.

📸 Mercedes W202 – where stance meets pure oldschool elegance. This build defines style without excess. A deep navy blue sedan with flawless lines and custom 3-piece Rotiform wheels – that’s all it takes to make the W202 look like a new icon of the stance scene. The interior? Pure Mercedes classic – natural wood trim, a wooden steering wheel, and that unmistakable 90s luxury vibe. And the cherry on top: an original Nokia mobile phone mount – a nostalgic detail that takes you straight back in time. Up front, a subtle touch: a Mercedes flag mounted in the bumper. Minimalism done perfectly. 📍 Photos captured during a secret meet at Zamek Topacz, just before Ultrace 2025, where this car easily stood out as one of the cleanest and most elegant builds around. Owner: @l27jme 🔥 A classic that doesn’t try to be modern – it just stays true to itself. Effortless. Timeless. Perfect. 🔔 If you love clean, classy builds and the finest stance projects, make sure to follow @classic_car_scene – your source for the best classics and automotive art from across Europe. #MercedesW202 #StanceMercedes #Rotiform ClassicBenz OldschoolMercedes Ultrace2025 TopaczCastle YoungtimerScene CleanBuild StaticOrBagged ClassicCarScene GermanStyle RetroLuxury CarCulture

Mr Jamie brought his Mercedes to us for some much needed TLC. After being resprayed previously, coming here it was in a sad state. Sunken repairs, shrink marks and more flakey paint then I could poke a stick at. This build should be illegal…🔞💨 When I saw it first at the Cars&Coffee organised by @gravityshowuk in their @gravityhquk it left me speechless. Most people wouldn’t touch this chassis. Jamie (@l27jme) didn’t just touch it—he transformed it into something you can’t ignore. Every detail on this Mercedes is intentional—from the wheels to the antenna. Built in as a representation of @vengaworld, this isn’t just a car… …it’s a statement. You either get it—or you don’t. Drop a 🔥 if you do. #mercedesbenz #mercedes #w202 #carsoninstagram #luxurycarlife #lowriderlifestyle
