This 1999 Mercedes-Benz W202 C200 Classic, based in Cardiff, Wales, has been developed over several years into a low, OEM-plus street build. The owner acquired a same-colour donor car to source rust-free body panels including wings, bonnet and boot lid, and has approached the build with an emphasis on retaining factory aesthetics rather than adding aftermarket body kits.Suspension work was carried out by 187 Automotive, who fitted an Air Lift Performance air ride system managed by the Air Lift 3P controller, allowing the car to sit fully aired out at shows while remaining usable on the road. The front bumper received a subtle custom modification at 187 Automotive, with additional depth added to the lower centre section to improve proportions at ride height without disrupting the OEM appearance.Wheels are BBS RS three-piece units, sourced and built with hardware from SRR Hardware. The car has been presented at events including Roll Hard at Bicester Motion, Players Show, The Drivers Collection, and Goodwood Motor Circuit, and was featured on the 187 Automotive YouTube channel documenting the build process.Detailing is handled with Stjarna Gloss products, and interior touches include a Nardi steering wheel. The build has been documented by multiple photographers including Lex Coles, Northframing, and others across the UK car scene.
