This 1993 Mercedes-Benz 190E 1.8 (W201) from Greenock, Scotland carries 170,000 miles and is finished in factory 920 Tiefblau. The build began with the car in good mechanical order, its original M102 engine running well before removal.
The workshop transplanted a supercharged M23 0K unit sourced from a donor CLK, retaining the donor car’s wiring loom and ECU as a self-contained system. The 190’s own loom from the fuse box back remains untouched, meaning all standard functions continue to operate without wire splicing or cross-compatibility work between the two platforms.
Stance is handled by Yellow Speed Racing suspension, and the car sits on BBS RS wheels measuring 17×9.5J ET30-35 at the rear with a tucked, stanced fitment. External additions include a BBS Hiekspoiler and a front splitter. The manual gearbox is retained, and the car remains a daily driver.

Didn’t like the standard leather clk gear stick; took a cue bal and went a bit Chupa Chups. Great fun and pleased to add a bit more character to the incredible build from 187 Automotive.
