Found it in 1989, seller imported it in 1987 (it is a Euro version, 185 bhp, 3.27 rear end, rear headrests, side markers) but ran out of garage room, so he sold it to me. It was my daily driver until I acquired a highly modified 2009 C63 AMG, which is my current daily driver.
She is still driven regularly, and taken to Cars and Coffee, EuroSunday, California Auto Museum and other events all over Northern California. Next year hopefully the Monterey Car Week Legends of the Autobahn.
