Widest rear wheel on an R129 without arch work?
Want a staggered AMG Monoblock look. What rear width and tyre have people fitted without rolling or pulling the arches?

18x9.5 with a 265/35 sits well on most R129s with the right offset (around ET30–35 rear); 18x8.5 up front. Anything wider than that and you're into arch rolling or spacers-and-prayers territory. Test fit before you buy — early and late cars vary slightly.
